Dr. Nils Roemer
I am an entrepreneur, researcher, and lecturer based in Hamburg, Germany.
I hold a degree in Business Administration with a focus on Operations and Supply Chain Management (2018) and a PhD in Operations Research and Mathematical Optimization (2022). Since 2023, I am Co-Founder and Managing Director of Planningio GmbH, a Hamburg-based software and consulting company specializing in mathematical optimization.
Our projects span automated production planning for the beverage industry, crowd management, warehouse simulation, and industrial digitalization.
I teach to inspire students to think analytically and to bring quantitative methods to life through real-world applications.
